As one of the leading organizations in the sector, YATED (Yacht and Boat Industry Association)<\/strong> has broken new ground with its own exhibition brand, Bosphorus Boat Show<\/strong>. Organized annually as both a land and a sea exhibition in cooperation with YATED Fair Inc.<\/strong> and ED Fair Inc.<\/strong>, the Bosphorus Boat Show brings the entire industry together under one roof.<\/p>

Held at Marint\u00fcrk Pendik Marina in 2023 and 2024, the Bosphorus Boat Show Sea Exhibition<\/strong> will welcome sea enthusiasts this year at Atak\u00f6y Marina between October 25 \u2013 November 2, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The first Bosphorus Boat Show Land Exhibition<\/strong> took place on February 17\u201324, 2024<\/strong>, gathering the whole sector under one roof after many years. Its second edition was held on February 15\u201322, 2025<\/strong> at the Istanbul Expo Center, bringing together 200+ companies, 500+ brands, 300+ boats, 41,000+ visitors<\/strong> across a total area of 31,000 square meters<\/strong>.<\/p>

Through various panels and events, the exhibition served not only as a marketplace but also as a platform for maritime culture. Furthermore, it contributed to the growth of the industry, which has an approximate value of 3 billion euros<\/strong> in our country.<\/p>

YATED Fuarc\u0131l\u0131k A.\u015e. (YATED Fair Inc.) is a company established by the Yacht and Boat Industry Association (YATED) to organise sectoral fairs and events. The mission of the company is to promote the yacht and boat industry in Turkey on national and international platforms, to increase commercial activities in the sector and to strengthen co-operation between companies. The main objective of YATED Fuarc\u0131l\u0131k A.\u015e. (YATED Fair Inc.) is to organise sectoral fairs for the yacht and boat industry.<\/p>

Establishment Process of YATED Fuarc\u0131l\u0131k A.\u015e.<\/p>

The Association for the Development of the Marine Industry and Shipping (DENTUR) has unanimously decided to change its name due to some reasons and reservations at its Ordinary General Assembly held on 25 February 2020. In 2007, DENTUR organised one of the strongest fairs in the maritime sector and brought the products of the sector such as boats and boat accessories, inflatable boats, power equipment, water sports equipment, marine clothing and accessories, marine rescue and emergency supplies to the international level with 120,000 visitors. In this process, it received wide coverage in the visual and print media.<\/p>

However, the negative factors experienced with various exhibition companies in the following years and the needs in the sector made it necessary to establish YATED Fuarc\u0131l\u0131k A.\u015e. In this direction, YATED (Yacht and Boat Industry Association) established YATED Fuarc\u0131l\u0131k A.\u015e. on 9 February 2021 in order to create a more effective structure that can respond to sectoral needs within the yacht and boat industry association, which is a large industry.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Reasons for the Establishment of YATED Fuarc\u0131l\u0131k A.\u015e.<\/p>

Negative Relationships Experienced by Sector Companies with Exhibition Companies:
Negative relations and experiences with various exhibition companies in the market have led to the need for sector companies to organise their own exhibitions.
Legal Problems:
It has been observed that associations and sector members, who are legally confronted with exhibition companies, need to make their own organisations to overcome such problems.
Inefficient Fairs:
The realisation of a large number of inefficient fairs has revealed the need to organise more effective and efficient fairs in the sector.
The need to organise their own fairs:
It has become necessary for the sector companies to organise their own fairs under a structure that can better respond to their needs, be accountable and directly serve the sector.
Creating a Sectoral Structure:
It is aimed to create a strong co-operation and solidarity structure by gathering the components of the sector under a single roof.
Unifying the Divided Structure:
It is aimed to provide a more integrated and organised structure by gathering the sector, which is divided with different companies, together.<\/p>
