YATED<\/span> has<\/span> been<\/span> accepted<\/span> as<\/span> a<\/span> full<\/span> member<\/span> of<\/span> the<\/span> EBI<\/span> (European<\/span> Boating<\/span> Industry<\/span>) Association<\/span>, which<\/span> was<\/span> established<\/span> to<\/span> promote<\/span> and<\/span> represent<\/span> a<\/span> sustainable<\/span> boating<\/span> and<\/span> maritime<\/span> tourism<\/span> industry<\/span>, in<\/span> 2024<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>

The EBI General Assembly, held twice a year, took place on 20 January 2026 at the Boot D\u00fcsseldorf trade fair in Germany.<\/span><\/p>

At the meeting, which celebrated the strategic importance of EBI\u2014now comprising 35 members from 21 countries following the addition of three new members (British Marine, Nordic Cluster and Volvo Penta)\u2014and the significant growth of the EBI community, the Economic Index containing statistical data on the maritime sector for 2025 was announced, and details of EBI\u2019s activities for 2025 were presented.<\/span> and the EBI\u2019s 2025\u20132028 strategy was presented and approved.<\/span><\/p>

It was announced by Murat Bekiro\u011flu, Chairman of the YATED Board of Directors, that the next EBI General Assembly Meeting will be hosted by YATED in Istanbul from 8\u201310 June 2026; this initiative and commitment were met with great appreciation and satisfaction.<\/span><\/p>
