YATED (Yacht and Boat Industry Association), one of the leading organisations in its sector, has broken new ground in the field with its own exhibition brand, the Bosphorus Boat Show. Organised annually by YATED Fuarcılık A.Ş. as one maritime and one land-based exhibition, the Bosphorus Boat Show brings the sector together under one roof. The Bosphorus Boat Show Maritime Exhibition, which has attracted significant interest in recent years, will take place this year from 17 to 25 October 2026, bringing together maritime enthusiasts.
At the Bosphorus Boat Show Land Exhibition, the first of which took place between 17 and 24 February 2024, the entire sector came together under one roof for the first time in many years. At the Bosphorus Boat Show Land Exhibition, held at the Istanbul Exhibition Centre in recent years, over 200 companies, over 500 brands, over 500 boats and over 40,000 visitors came together across an area of 27,000 square metres. The Bosphorus Boat Show Land Exhibition will take place again at the Istanbul Exhibition Centre from 20 to 27 February 2027.
YATED Fuarcılık A.Ş. (YATED Fair Inc.) is a company established by the Yacht and Boat Industry Association (YATED) to organise sectoral fairs and events. The mission of the company is to promote the yacht and boat industry in Turkey on national and international platforms, to increase commercial activities in the sector and to strengthen co-operation between companies. The main objective of YATED Fuarcılık A.Ş. (YATED Fair Inc.) is to organise sectoral fairs for the yacht and boat industry.
Establishment Process of YATED Fuarcılık A.Ş.
The Association for the Development of the Marine Industry and Shipping (DENTUR) has unanimously decided to change its name due to some reasons and reservations at its Ordinary General Assembly held on 25 February 2020. In 2007, DENTUR organised one of the strongest fairs in the maritime sector and brought the products of the sector such as boats and boat accessories, inflatable boats, power equipment, water sports equipment, marine clothing and accessories, marine rescue and emergency supplies to the international level with 120,000 visitors. In this process, it received wide coverage in the visual and print media.
However, the negative factors experienced with various exhibition companies in the following years and the needs in the sector made it necessary to establish YATED Fuarcılık A.Ş. In this direction, YATED (Yacht and Boat Industry Association) established YATED Fuarcılık A.Ş. on 9 February 2021 in order to create a more effective structure that can respond to sectoral needs within the yacht and boat industry association, which is a large industry.

The realisation of a large number of inefficient fairs has revealed the need to organise more effective and efficient fairs in the sector.

It has become necessary for the sector companies to organise their own fairs under a structure that can better respond to their needs, be accountable and directly serve the sector.

It is aimed to create a strong co-operation and solidarity structure by gathering the components of the sector under a single roof.
