YATED President Murat Bekiroğlu met with students at the Career Days event

Murat Bekiroğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yacht and Boat Industry Association (YATED), met with students at the Career Days event held on 24 November at the Pendik Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Maritime Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.

Following a presentation by YATED Association Director Kadir Karakaya, which covered the association’s founding objectives, the land and sea fairs it organises, the social responsibility projects it undertakes, and the events held within the scope of sectoral cooperation, Bekiroğlu shared his sectoral experience in the maritime and yacht industry with the young people, providing invaluable insights to guide future professionals in their career planning.

Bekiroğlu also stated that, in order to meet the industry’s need for skilled intermediate staff, the Association would continue to provide scholarships and internship opportunities for students studying at Maritime and Vocational Technical Anatolian High Schools, as well as addressing the schools’ needs.

School Principal Atilla Yurdagül expressed his gratitude to all members of the YATED Board of Directors, particularly Murat Bekiroğlu, for the Association’s invaluable contributions to education.
