We met with a delegation from the Colombian Maritime Association, ASONÁUTICA, at the YATED Association Headquarters.
As the first association in Colombia to represent, support and defend the interests of the maritime, tourism, cultural, entertainment and sports sectors, its primary objective is to raise awareness of the importance of boating for the sustainable development of Colombia’s coastline and to encourage and support the development of projects within the maritime sector, a meeting was held on Monday 3 November at our Association Headquarters with the participation of officials from the ASONÁUTICA Maritime Association, alongside the Chairman and Members of the YATED Board of Directors.
During the meeting, YATED’s contributions to the sector since its establishment, the trade fairs it has organised, and the corporate social responsibility projects it has undertaken were discussed.
In a statement made by the Executive Director of the ASONÁUTICA Association, it was noted that YATED is a well-established organisation that has undertaken many significant projects; it was also stated that they wish to benefit from YATED’s experience and achievements and would be delighted to collaborate in this regard.
It was felt that the meeting, during which views were exchanged and consultations took place, was highly productive in terms of contributing to our sector’s expansion into international markets.
