EBI (European Boating Industry) Association General Assembly Meeting
Dear Members,
YATED has been accepted as a full member of the EBI (European Boating Industry) Association, which was established to promote and represent a sustainable boating and maritime tourism industry, in 2024.
The EBI General Assembly, held twice a year, took place on 20 January 2026 at the Boot Düsseldorf trade fair in Germany.
At the meeting, which celebrated the strategic importance of EBI—now comprising 35 members from 21 countries following the addition of three new members (British Marine, Nordic Cluster and Volvo Penta)—and the significant growth of the EBI community, the Economic Index containing statistical data on the maritime sector for 2025 was announced, and details of EBI’s activities for 2025 were presented. and the EBI’s 2025–2028 strategy was presented and approved.
It was announced by Murat Bekiroğlu, Chairman of the YATED Board of Directors, that the next EBI General Assembly Meeting will be hosted by YATED in Istanbul from 8–10 June 2026; this initiative and commitment were met with great appreciation and satisfaction.
