A debriefing meeting was held for the Bosphorus Boat Show

Following the Bosphorus Boat Show (BBS), organised by ED Fuarcılık with the support of YATED and held at Ataköy Marina from 25 October to 2 November, we met with our participating companies at the Post-Event Evaluation Meeting. The event, held at the Istanbul Marriott Hotel Pendik, was attended by YATED Board Chairman Murat Bekiroğlu, YATED Board Members, ED Fuarcılık Founders Dilek Soydan and Emel Yılmaz, Ataköy Marina General Manager Artun Ertem, and representatives from the companies that participated in our fair.

The meeting began with a presentation by YATED Association Director Kadir Karakaya, which included updates on the BBS 2025 Maritime Exhibition and the BBS 2026 Land Exhibition. Dilek Soydan, Founding Partner of ED Fuarcılık, then shared her assessments of the Maritime Exhibition with the participants. During the session, which discussed the improvements and developments planned to ensure that future fairs are more effective and successful, and to meet participants’ demands to the highest standard, the views of the companies were taken into account.

In his closing remarks, Murat Bekiroğlu, a member of the YATED Board of Directors, emphasised that the maritime sector is going through difficult times. He made statements aimed at strengthening the supportive role our association has undertaken in this regard and reiterated our commitment to continuing to contribute to the sector’s development.
