Announcement of the Opening of the YATED Painting Workshop

As part of our sector-specific educational partnership, we continue to contribute to the development of our students’ skills by bringing our sector’s expertise to educational institutions, and to act as a key partner guiding their professional development.

In this context, our Association commissioned the construction of the “YATED Paint Workshop” at the Pendik Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Maritime Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School to help meet the need for surface preparation and paint application—an integral part of the boat-building process.

Today, we held the opening ceremony of the YATED Paint Workshop with great pride. The ceremony was attended by Pendik District Governor Mehmet Yıldız, Pendik District Director of National Education Ertan Saygın, YATED Board of Directors Chairman Murat Bekiroğlu and Board Members, YATED Association Director Kadir Karakaya, and representatives from the sector.

Following the opening speeches, commemorative plaques prepared for the occasion were exchanged. After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the paint workshop—which we had built with great effort and which was highly appreciated by the attendees—was toured and inspected.
