YATED’in üyesi olduğu Avrupa Teknecilik Endüstrisi (EBI) Derneği tarafından, Avrupa’da rekreasyonel denizcilik sektörünün enerji dönüşümüne ilişkin hazırlanan “Energy Transition for Recreational Boating in Europe: A Roadmap for Alternative Fuel Infrastructure” başlıklı yol haritası yayımlanmıştır.
Çalışmada; sürdürülebilir yakıtlar, elektrikli ve hibrit tahrik sistemleri ile gelecekte öne çıkması beklenen alternatif enerji çözümlerine yönelik değerlendirmeler yer almakta, marinaların bu dönüşüm sürecindeki kritik rolüne dikkat çekilmektedir.
Konuya ilişkin EBI “bilgilendirme metni” ve “yol haritası dokümanı” aşağıda sunulmuştur.

We are pleased to share that EBI has officially launched its new roadmap: “Energy Transition for Recreational Boating in Europe: A roadmap for alternative fuel infrastructure”.
The roadmap sets out practical recommendations to support the transition towards more sustainable recreational boating across Europe and highlights the important role marinas will play in enabling future propulsion technologies and alternative fuels.
Recognising the diversity of Europe’s recreational boating sector and marinas, the roadmap supports a technology-neutral and multi-pathway approach, including:
- Sustainable drop-in fuels such as HVO,
- Electric propulsion,
- Hybrid systems,
- and future technologies such as hydrogen and methanol.
The publication also outlines key recommendations for EU and national policymakers, including:
- support for marina infrastructure investment,
- inclusion of recreational boating in relevant EU infrastructure frameworks,
- streamlined permitting procedures,
- and approaches based on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
The roadmap builds on discussions with industry stakeholders, marina operators, and international partners, and forms part of EBI’s ongoing work on sustainability and the energy transition. It is based on the work that EBI has undergone in the last year together with members, including a dedicated webinar, and it has been approved by EBI Executive Committee.
